Devonport Mineral Water Company

This was a long running company operating from 1909 until 1953 and leaving some impressive bottles. Amongst the most distinctive of their bottles must surely be the Codd bottles with the company’s initials, DMWC, embossed around the marble chamber.

Numerous variations of ginger beer bottle are found, most bearing the Cannon Street address but the most sought after is the variation carrying the RA Brand mark and the Cornwall Street address. Amongst their glass bottles the pinnacle would be the olive green codd bottle, currently unique.
