Heavitree Brewery

Although primarily an Exeter based company, the Heavitree Brewery maintained a presence in Plymouth between 1896 and 1923. The company operated from premises in Vauxhall St, Plymouth and later from 98 & 99 Union Street. (The Union St premises being those formerly occupied by Phillips & Ryall)

Elegant amber / olive glass beer bottles bearing the company’s name and Plymouth address have been recovered but are fairly scarce finds.
