Mackey

John Mackey traded as Mackey & Co from premises at 25 Russell St, Plymouth and was another early ginger beer producer. The company is listed in the 1852 trade directory and was later operated under the Denniford name from some time in the early 1870s, the Denniford bottles often bear the Established 1832 date which is presumably the date at which Mackey commenced production.

Few Mackey & Co bottles have been recovered although early Denniford Hamilton bottles have also been recovered bearing the name Denniford Late Mackey & Co.
